Complaints can be submitted anonymously or with a name, and are reviewed and addressed to the extent permitted by law.

Subcommittee for the National Certification Exam – Guy Caro-Segal
Since 2008, the Association has held an annual certification exam, which is a prerequisite for membership for anyone who completed their Chinese medicine studies from that year onward. The exam is based on the NCCAOM model in the US, adapted to the Israeli curriculum. Over the years, the exam has led to a rise in educational standards, increased training hours, and alignment across colleges. As a result, the quality of Chinese medicine practice in Israel has significantly improved.
The Association collaborates with medical and therapeutic institutions to establish the exam as a preferred condition for employment. These institutions support the initiative, recognising that the exam naturally filters out inadequately trained practitioners and helps guide future regulation of the field. The long-term vision is for the Association to serve as the recognised professional body that sets and enforces national standards in Chinese medicine in Israel. More details and enrollment for the test
